2020 “Seed Teacher Project” — Reading Magic Camp in Tainan Yujing Part 2

DENER launched a reading magic camp in Yujing, Tainan on July 31. This was the second time we had returned to Yujing Elementary School. Even though there have been some changes, our intention to put actual actions into rural education had not changed.This year, we also co-organized these activities with “Tathagata Family Care Association.” The children in Yujing mostly grew up in the agricultural family, and we could feel their simplicity and contentment in getting along with the children. “Seed Teacher Project”– Huzhu Elementary School in Nantou, Taiwan

On July 18, the seed teachers of DENER went to Huzhu Elementary School in Renai Township, Nantou County to teach. Most of the children from Huzhu Elementary School are from the Saidiq aboriginal group; the liveliness and innocence of this group of children is impressive. From Huzhu Elementary School, you can see the magnificent scenery at a glance. There is a feeling of cheerfulness. Nature has created a clean learning environment. May 31st was the fourth session of the seed teacher training. Early morning, students gathered at DENER. 2020 “Seed Teacher Project”–Training Course (3)

As the COVID-19 slowed down, on May 30, the seed teacher’s training was conducted at DENER. The training was conducted by teacher Yongyi Wu. May 17th was the second session of the seed teacher class. We invited teacher Cailiang Xu to have a deeper discussion with everyone. The main content of teacher Xu’s teaching was image science. The lengthy texts were organized into schematic diagrams to help clarify the meaning of the text and prepare for teaching more systematically.
