2019 DENER team in Nepal – Our first stop

This October, the DENER volunteer team came to Shree Mangal Dvip School in Kathmandu, Nepal. The school was kept well by the children, and there were many greens that they planted. Senior students led the volunteers to visit the campus and explained in detail children’s daily life. We also saw the children’s little painting studio; there were many children’s works. In the beginning, I attend the seed-teacher training class of DENER because I heard my friend’s experience of teaching in rural area of ​​China. In the summer days, when you walk into Tainan Yujing Elementary School, you can see that children are studying hard. The second day of the course was started by teacher May’s class –“creative soldiers.” In Teacher May’s class, she prepared cute tailor bags for higher grades. “Seed Teacher Project”– Field Teaching Activities at Guanglong Elementary School in Taichung

After series of training classes, the seed teachers came to the first internship teaching opportunity, allowing them to apply what they’ve learned in the training course to actual teaching. The internship started at Guanglong Elementary School in Taiping District in Taichung on July 9th. Many thanks to the school and teachers for their support and assistance. There were more than 20 children participated, from first grade to fifth grade.  The class began from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
