Buddhism Education

In the remote mountainous areas, monasteries often take on the responsibility of education for the region. Some families send their most promising children to receive systematic education and training, while others send children from extremely impoverished families or orphans. The Buddhist academies supported by DENER encompass both Han and Tibetan traditions of Buddhism. The student monks, guided by their faith, dedicate themselves daily with steadfastness and devotion to studying Buddhist teachings and reciting ancient scriptures.

Each year, in addition to providing learning supplies with love and building meaningful connections with many student monks, DENER also aims to continuously support the significant educational mission of these Buddhist academies.
