《2009》
- The founder and several friends, inspired by their travels to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, witnessed the harsh conditions and lack of resources faced by local children. Determined to change their future through education, they initiated the “Stationery Assistance” program by organizing grassroots efforts to collect school supplies.
《2009-2014》
- Stationery and other essential supplies were delivered to 45 remote mountain schools, orphanages, and Buddhist academies across China, India, Nepal, and African regions like Namibia and Malawi.
2015-2017
《2015》
The organization was officially registered and approved by Taiwan’s Ministry of the Interior as the “DENER Children Foundation.” This marked the beginning of a larger-scale effort to provide educational assistance in Taiwan’s rural areas and internationally.
《2016》
The “Diverse Learning Tools” program expanded, delivering supplies to 29 overseas schools in China, India, Nepal, and Africa, as well as one school in Taiwan.
《2017》
- Continued the ” Diverse Learning Tools” program, supporting 34 schools across China, India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Africa, plus one in Taiwan.
- Launched the “Reading Brings Joy” project, helping Gueila Primary School in Qinghai Province establish a comprehensive reading room management system and donated over 200 books. Experienced educators provided training, enabling local teachers to become “seed instructors” in reading guidance.
- Visited India to address local children’s educational and hygiene needs, providing supplies and conducting health education workshops.
2018-2020

- Delivered supplies to 40 overseas schools in China, India, and Nepal under the “Diverse Learning Tools” program.
- Conducted the first visit to Bhutan.
- Expanded the “Reading Brings Joy” program to Ganzi, Sichuan Province.
《2019》
- Provided supplies to 43 schools in China, India, Nepal, and Bhutan.
- Relocated the DENER office to a new facility in February.
- Launched the first “Seed Teacher” program, hosting a recruitment seminar in Taiwan with 12 university students participating in training.
- Conducted a one-day reading service at Guanglong Elementary School in Taichung and a summer reading camp at Yujing Elementary School in Tainan.
《2020》
- Due to the pandemic, international activities for the ” Diverse Learning Tools ” and “Reading Brings Joy” programs were suspended.
- Focused efforts domestically, supporting 51 indigenous elementary schools across Taiwan in Nantou, Pingtung, Hsinchu, Kaohsiung, and Chiayi.
- Adapted the second “Seed Teacher” program with an online seminar and training, involving 10 participants.
- Conducted teaching services during the summer at multiple schools, including Huzhu Elementary School in Nantou and Yujing Elementary School in Tainan.
- Officially launched the “Diversified Classes Program,” providing regular reading instruction at Huzhu Elementary School in Nantou.
2021-2023

- Supported 140 rural elementary schools across Taiwan under the ” Diverse Learning Tools ” program.
- Launched the “Love Without Distance” tablet donation campaign to provide remote teaching equipment for Nantou schools.
- Adapted the third “Seed Teacher” program to a hybrid format with 12 participants due to ongoing pandemic challenges.
- Expanded the ” Diversified Classes Program,” adding two schools: Houliao Elementary School in Changhua and Shuiwei Elementary School in Nantou.
《2022》
- Provided assistance to 95 rural elementary schools in Taiwan.
- Held the fourth “Seed Teacher” recruitment seminar, attracting 33 participants, with 18 completing training and conducting summer bilingual reading services in multiple schools.
- Added three schools to the ” Diversified Classes Program,” serving a total of six schools with four intern teachers.
《2023》
- Assisted 139 rural elementary schools under the ” Diverse Learning Tools ” program.
- Held the fifth “Seed Teacher” program, involving 36 seminar participants and 20 in training.
- Resumed overseas services, sending five teachers to Nepal for bilingual and multi-disciplinary teaching services, and one teacher for a three-month Chinese teaching program.
- Expanded the ” Diversified Classes Program” to seven schools.
2024
《2024》
- Supported 147 rural elementary schools in Taiwan under the ” Diverse Learning Tools ” program.
- Conducted winter bilingual teaching services with 12 teachers at schools in Changhua and Nantou.
- Held the sixth “Seed Teacher” program, training 30 participants for summer bilingual reading services at multiple schools.
- Sent nine volunteers to Nepal for educational services, including one teacher for a five-month Chinese teaching program.
- Expanded the ” Diversified Classes Program ” to 11 schools.
- Received the “Outstanding Volunteer Service Team Award” from the Taichung City Government and achieved an A-grade rating in the “Social Welfare Volunteer Assessment.”
- Participated in the “Taiwan Festival” in Tsuchiura, Japan.
- Obtained certification from the Charities Aid Foundation America.
