Early summer day, several volunteers gathered together to pack and distribute stationary to schools located in remote areas of China. Some of us open pen bags; some put in pencils into the bag; some put in the eraser—quickly, an assembly line was formed.

It was a rather happy time as everyone shared interesting childhood stories about the “efforts” and “hurdles” we go through to acquire beautiful stationary as kids.

After a day of hard work, we have a nice hotpot for dinner. The volunteer sitting at the end of the table is our youngest one. She is only two and a half years old. It is our hope that she will grow up to be a very capable volunteer in the near future.

It is due to everyone’s collective effort that we could grow our funds year after year and as a result, more children could receive the help they need on their path to a better future. Most sincere thank you to everyone.
