In mid-May, friends of DENER contacted us, hoping to donate medical masks to the people who lived in remote areas of China. Learning about the news, our volunteer team in Shanghai, quickly contacted our long-term cooperative schools and Buddhist institutes to inquire about the situation. After gathering their requirements and delivery details, our volunteers work with friends’ factory down south to send masks to schools in the shortest amount of time. Over the past few days, 76 boxes of more than 150,000 masks have been delivered to elementary schools, junior high schools and Buddhist institutes in remote areas of China.
Looking at the photos sent back from the schools, we were deeply moved. We are very grateful to our friends, for their trust in DENER. During this extraordinary period, such generosity is like a warm current that flew into these schools and students in need
