The school environment is very clean.  Although the playground equipment is quite simple, it does not stop it from being children’s paradise.  Even a pile of sand or a steel seesaw can be a source of happiness.  This is a boarding school, so we can see a lot of children stayed even during the holidays because school is their only shelter.

Director Shirley is an outgoing, enthusiastic and energetic woman.  She has donated her time to the school and now lives in Nepal to help with management and educational programs.  Most of the teachers of this school are volunteers, they offer help as fulltime.  The beautiful smiles on their faces are as sincere as the kids.

What was most memorable about the visit was the fact that things that seem so ordinary in our lives; a piece of candy, a pen, or an eraser, could make the children at the school so excited and happy.
