Stationery Project

The stationery Project has entered eleventh year, and as always, it has been launched in various places: China area is responsible for China region schools; Taiwan area is responsible for Taiwan and overseas. The epidemic is still severe all over the world, and India’s borders with neighboring countries are still blocked and the delivery of overseas materials is still forced to be suspended. So, this year in Taiwan, we put all our attention into the remote mountain schools in Taiwan. In China, we continue to serve elementary schools and Buddhist academies in mountainous areas.

Stationery selected for kids

This year we selected some pencils, exercise books, markers and colored pencil holders for kids. These are the most needed and useful tools for children during their studies. For DENER, it’s also a way for us to continue to support some tuition in these rural schools.

Daily Needs of Buddhist Academy

Continuing the LED dual-purpose lighting added to the program last year, we also prepared lighting for Buddhist Academy in other areas this year. This dual-purpose lighting can be used not only as a flashlight, but also as a small table lamp.

The teachers of the Buddhist Academy that received the LED lighting told us that this lamp was very convenient and easy to use for students living in remote mountainous areas. Because the unstable electricity, there are frequent power outages in the mountain. When they have the LED dual-purpose lighting, they can be safe even walking in the dark roads at night.

We also continue to provide natural pigments and professional toners used for Thangka painting to Buddhist academy. Because these pigments and toners have been used in the making of thangkas and dolls for a long time and in large quantities, we had specially selected food-grade toners for students to taste without worry. These pigment toners were not only rich in color, but also very finely and densely blended with ghee.

Cooperation units and schools

We would like to express my sincere thanks to the manufacturers who have been cooperated with DENER for a long time. They have completed all the processes carefully, and also carried out the labeling and subcontracting work for us. The manufacturer grew up with DENER all the way. Because of their assistance, all the supplies and stationery could be delivered to the children far away as scheduled.

Warm heart

Stationery has been a project of DENER for many years and we have been working hard for the children. At the end of September, all stationery was delivered to the school one by one. A new school this year Aixi Primary School in Mianning County, Sichuan Province has a total of 275 students, most of whom were left-behind children.

The teacher told us that the children were so happy after receiving the stationery. The weather is gradually getting cold. Even though the children are far away from us, we believe they would definitely feel the warmth of everyone’s generosity.
